Old Lyme Youth Benefit from Documetary Filmmaking Workshop

Old Lyme Middle and High School students made short documentary films this summer using a GPF provided iPads, microphones and tripods.
Participants kept notes, conducted research, and edited a 2-3 minute film while exploring the theory, ethics, and best practices of documentary filmmaking. Thanks to all the community members who made time to be interviewed.
The program concluded with a screening event to celebrate the new films. We received several complimentary emails after sending particpants their completed films through email. This one stood out:
