number 1

“Green Planet Films Presents” is an initiative where we screen award-winning films and film festivals. Due to our coastal location, in 2021 and 2022 we presented the International Ocean Film Festival, founded in 2004 in San Francisco, CA. In March 2023 we presented A Call to Arts: An Artistic Journey in Ireland 1935-1975 at The United Theatre, and next, in May at the Mystic Luxury Cinemas, we will present Forest for the Trees - The Tree Planters, with Canadian film director and photographer Rita Leistner in attendance.  Filmmaking Workshops for Kids and Adults
in Connecticut and Rhode Island

Green Planet's Filmmaking Workshops are led by accomplished local documentary filmmakers. We serve nonprofits, museums, schools, and retirement homes in providing custom tailored workshops where each participant makes a short documentary of their own. Participants film and edit on iPads provided by Green Planet Films.
Workshops are designed to fit the organization's goals, highlight strengths, and engage participants. We facilitate the journey through preproduction, production and editing. It's all about the chance to explore filmmaking and share a vision. Workshops typically take place over a weekend, or meet weekly for a number of weeks.
