Da Vinci's Dream: The Secrets of Flight is a look at some of the current challenges and discoveries that aeronautics engineers are facing and how they still relate to the romance and genius of Leonardo da Vinci's first visions of manned flight. This film is a must see for anyone who loves the history of flight and seeks to stay informed of the new horizons in this awe-inspiring science.
Jaguar People (Tigre Gente) is an ambitious film shot on location in Bolivia and China. This investigative documentary uncovers the forces driving an illicit trade in Jaguar parts from Bolivia to China. It not only seeks to understand the threat and the cultural forces that underpin it, but also follows the Bolivian Park Rangers as they confront poachers and seek to deter this new threat to Bolivia's endangered jaguar population.
Naples and the Amalfi Coast: La Dolce Vita? This film is a refreshingly sober look at the challenges facing one of the most intoxicating landscapes on earth. Travel to Italy for this exploration of how the forces of tourism are endangering the Amalfi Coast and the locals who call it home. This film examines the cost of tourism, the fight for coastal access, and introduces the local Italians fighting for justice and sustainability in their home.
