Whatever has brought you to the fire, be glad you're here. This DVD of the Canadian-based Cree series Stories of the Seventh Fire and its companion volume are absolutely brilliant uses of animation and wildlife footage. There's a beating heart in these films, a living spirit, and I think you'll be taken by the wise voices, the vivid colors and the legendary stories. These films are a marvel, an antidote to the violent, meaningless wasteland of contemporary "family" entertainment ... and cannot come more highly recommended!
