Outreach HEADING_TITLE

August 2005

Volunteers Needed!  We are currently looking for an Volunteer Coordinator to help us manage our great volunteers.  You would be the point person for our volunteers as they assist us with film nights, order fulfillment and other tasks.  Our volunteers are great to work with and are local Bay Area residents and college students.  Please contact us if you are interested in learning more.

We host film nights in the Bay Area and encourage organizations, businesses, and schools to show films to their members, students, friends, or employees.  Please be advised that some of the films may be subject to Public Performance Rights.

Topics such as urban sprawl, the peak oil crisis, genetically engineered food, water privatization, endangered species, and deforestation affect us all, yet many of these issues are largely understated and misrepresented by the general media.

As the public's awareness to these issues increases, their desire to learn more and act grows tremendously. Our mission is to promote environmental education through film to organizations, educational institutions, and public viewers who have been historically underserved by mainstream home video distributors.

We believe environmental media distribution is a catalyst for awareness and change, and by offering our DVD library as a resource; we place the tools for education, outreach and advocacy into the hands of the people with the power to foster change.
