GREEN
Multi award winning. Her name is GREEN, she is alone in a world that doesn’t belong to her. She is a female orangutan, victim of deforestation and resource exploitation. This film is an emotional journey with GREEN’s final days. It is a visual ride presenting the devastating impacts of logging and land clearing for palm oil plantations, the choking haze created by rainforest fires and the tragic end of rainforest biodiversity. We watch the effects of consumerism and are faced with our personal accountability in the loss of the world’s rainforest treasures.
Scraphouse: San Francisco
ScrapHouse was a temporary demonstration home, built entirely of salvaged material on Civic Center Plaza adjacent to San Francisco City Hall. Over the course of just six weeks, a team of volunteers scoured Bay Area dumps and scrap yards. A group of architects, landscape architects, lighting specialists, and metal fabricators repurposed the materials, giving them new life. ScrapHouse illustrated the possibilities—as well as the challenges—of green building, recycling, and reuse.
Walden: The Ballad of Thoreau
Walden: The Ballad of Thoreau is a two act, one set play about the last two days Henry David Thoreau spent in his cabin at Walden Pond.
The Salton Sea: A Desert Saga
This is the story of the Salton Sea, its rich history and the challenges it faces. As the need for water in the American southwest becomes critical the decisions we make now will impact people, animals and the environment for generations to come.

Houses of Straw
This film shows the recent development of straw bale building in Germany by following three house projects. Straw bale architect Dirk Scharmer explains his latest straw bale construction projects in different stages of building. Interviews with owners, builders, architects and experts cover a multitude of green building topics.
I Love Trash
In order to examine excessive waste in American culture, David Brown and Greg Mann decided to document an experiment in trash. They rented an unfurnished apartment, and brought only the clothes they were wearing and a flashlight. For three months, instead of buying they would dumpster dive everything. Furniture, clothes and even food. Maybe dumpster diving is more common than you think.
SHARKS: Stewards of the Reef
This film examines escalating threats to shark population including habitat destruction of reef ecosystems and over fishing that are causing Pacific reef shark populations to plummet. It examines the most brutal assault threatening shark abundance: that of finning sharks for shark fin soup. Compelling interviews with leading marine biologists and conservationists reveal these driving forces behind the drastic reduction of many shark populations.
Fighting Goliath: Texas Coal Wars
Follows the story of Texans fighting a high-stakes battle for clean air. The film introduces the unlikely partners-mayors, ranchers, CEOs, community groups, legislators, lawyers, and citizens-that have come together to oppose the construction of 19 conventional coal-fired power plants that were slated to be built in Eastern and Central Texas and that were being fast-tracked by the Governor. Narrated by Robert Redford.
