Code of Best Practices for Sustainable Filmmaking

If you are planning a new production and would like to make your film in an environmentally conscious manner, here’s a resource for you from The Center for Social Media at American University.

This site currently contains the Code’s Principles as well as its checklists, carbon trackers, and Web resources. These may be downloaded from the Code. Currently they are working to create an independent website for this project, which will provide comprehensive and interactive resources for those interested in sustainable filmmaking. Check back at www.sustainablefilmmaking.org for updates in the future as the site is developed.
